With this module you can detect occupation of a block of track on a layout powered by DC or DCC. Each detector works by passing the DCC supply to the track through a diode array and will detect currents at around 30mA. A single channel allows detection of occupation on one block of track.
This module is intended to work as one of a collection of detectors all connected to a WFO-85 8-Way Wi-Fi Contact Closure Track Occupation Detector that provides the Wi-Fi connection for the collection. You can display the status of all the 8 channels using Wifitrax WFD-60 Layout controller that polls all similar modules frequently to display the track occupation on a WFD-60 Panel. The WFD-60 will give you up to 8 panels on which you can draw plans of your layout and see block occupation as well as control turnouts, signals and lights.
